The Hadamar Memorial, 03.08.2014
Although the memorial is well-signposted in the town, you lose orientation as you approach it. In front of a hospital, just as you‘re about to ask someone the way, you realise that you‘ve arrived. The memorial is on the ground floor to the right, the basement below it and in an adjacent wood building.
The supposed loonies were carted to the wood building.
Screened from view, they were stripped of clothes and possessions, led to the adjoining buildings, gassed and had their corpses incinerated.
Very professionally done; rather in the manner of a conveyor belt.
